in melbourne i was drawing people on the train between home and uni for fun. since i've been in albany i've just been so busy painting my fingernails...i still love painting, but LA study has been so consuming i've only got a couple of canvases in those 4 years. and that'sbeen self portraits. now i have more time i will get myself back into it. had a go at incorperating painting into my studies for a while but just didn't have the wherewithall to make it work. need more time to consider what i'm doing than the quick turn around of desing school. but getting these paintings back from iain, who very kindly offered them to me after looking after them for about 10 years, i was suprised and delighted and i feel very inspired to get back into this kind of work again.
