Driving back from Apollo Bay along the Great Ocean Road, Victoria, New Years Day 2009. I took a few of these videos, but even this little one took about 2 hours to upload. How cool...I love that road. It looks cold over there and wet and rainy. Been blowing its guts out here but sharp sunlight through the clouds too.
It was a wet and scary day. but it's summer again now. warm enough to bring out the reptiles: on our morning walk today me and yoshi came across a snake being tormented by a willy-wagtail. it was a crazy sight, a long thin brown-barred snake with it's head all flattened out waving sideways at this nutsy little bird flapping above it only just out of reach. it freaked me out for a while, every shadow became poisonous.
by the way, camping sounds great at cosy this year! was wondering what you were up to.
Camping at cosy is ALWAYS interesting! But this year we were at Bettys, way over the other side, underneath the mountain. Your trip sounds great.
It's summer here!
